Obamacare WIll Pass!

By a vote of 224-206, the House of Representatives took a giant step toward passing Obamacare through the chamber. Ladies and gentlemen, it looks like the Democrats are victorious. And so are the Republicans. I firmly believe that the GOP is praying that the Democrats pass this bill, because their entire 2010 campaign strategy depends on it. The GOP isn't interested in doing what's best for the American people, the Republicans want to gain more seats.

So three things will happen this year:

1) Obamacare becomes law.

2) The GOP gains at least 35 seats in the House and 7 in the Senate.

3) Government will grow even bigger (actually, the bill won't kick in until much later).

Do you think the Democrats will get Obamacare through?

1 comment:

  1. Obamacare will not stand as written for two reasons. First is that it grants favors in commerce to certain states. That is expressly forbidden in the constitution. Second, it forces people to buy the insurance not by their choice, but by their existence.

The Democrats can dance at this victory, but because it is not popular among the majority of Americans, your prediction about the GOP is probably right. It is the true definition of a Pyrrhic victory.
