Unemployment Benefits Ending!

It's already serious, but now it's about to get scary.

Millions of people are about to lose their unemployment insurance. Starting Feb. 28, people will not be able to file for federal unemployment benefits or COBRA (health insurance subsidy). By March, 1.2 million workers will be forced to survive one way or another. By June, that number will blossom to nearly 5 million Americans. What happens when you have 5 million people lose their unemployment insurance and their are no full-time jobs to provide relief?

I think we all know deep down inside. I think we're going to see an unprecedented amount of homelessness sweep across the nation that will shake the very foundation of our society. The decades of debt, excess, corruption and thief is going to lead to a great depression that will dramatically lower our standard of living for decades.

Let's hope I'm wrong, but continue to stock up on food and water just in case.

Pakistan and India Getting Along?

It looks like India and Pakistan are moving in the right direction. Kind of. Officials from India and Pakistan meet for direct talks this year. Tensions intensified after the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Talks break India-Pakistan ice

The Rich get Richer, while the Poor get Poorer

We've all heard the saying, "The rich get richer and the poor get poor," but this graph lays it out in a way that both shocking and disturbing. In the 1960s, bottom 90% of the population controlled over 65% of the wealth in America. Now, the bottom 90% (the common folks) control less than 15%. What's even more stunning is the fact that the top 1% controls over 65% of the wealth. This economic disparity resembles the situation had during the 1920s and we all know how well that turned out.

Citibank: Where's my MONEY!

According to businessinsider.com, Citibank has sent a notice to their customers stating that they reserve the right to refuse to give their customers their money with a 7 day notice. So if you have a checking account with Citibank, you be look into this. Because one day you could show up at an ATM machine and get a nasty surprise. According to the article, Citibank told their customers the following:

"Effective April 1, 2010, we reserve the right to require (7) days advance notice before permitting a withdrawal from all checking accounts. While we do not currently exercise this right and have not exercised it in the past, we are required by law to notify you of this change,"

If you find any articles that confirm or counter this information, please send me an email or contact me on Youtube.

Toyota v. Government Motors

Toyota v. Government Motors

Toyota is calling referring to President Obama and the Democrats as “activist” who are “not industry friendly." This comes after the U.S. government launched an investigation on Toyota's recall of millions of its vehicles. The issue was a car's gas pedal. The whole situation seems bizarre to me. Mainly, because the U.S. government maybe investigating a car company after it gave billions of dollars in loans to its competitor (General Motors). Talk about conflict of interest.

Joe Stack's ATTACK on the IRS!

Here's my take on Joe Stack.

This guy was probably an average joe who was fed up with the federal government using tax code to go after him while it bailed out Wall Street criminals who helped ruin his career. Simply put, I think he snapped! No government conspiracy. Just a man who was mad as hell.

Why do I think that it wasn't a government conspiracy?

Two Reasons:

1) There wasn't a fall guy (i.e. a Tea Party member)
2) The media isn't hyping it up!

I highly recommend that you read Joe's letter, because I think that there are a LOT of people who feel the same and this could be a sign of more to come.

You can find Joe Stack's letter right here.

5 Million Foreclosures IMMINENT!

5 Million Foreclosures coming, state unemployment claims increase by 31,000 last week and a pilot crashes into an IRS building. What a day? Does any still think that we're in a recovery?

The Ticker guy (Karl Denninger) pointed out that only 21% of the American people believe that the federal government enjoys the consent of the governed. A number that is only one point higher than the almost of people who were loyal to Britain in 1776. Karl thinks that the political class said be worried, but I don't see why. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Does that mean that we're headed toward a revolution?

Not necessarily. The American people of today are nothing like the revolutionaries of the 18th century. Americans a desperately dependent on the government and lack the will to force the government to do anything. Americans will vote Republican in 2010, the GOP will take over in 2011 and spent money like a spoiled valley girl with her dad's credit card.

The wars will continue, the middle class will evaporate, the government will get bigger, the deficit will continue to explode (but at a slightly slower pace), the dollar will implode, people will hate Obama, Mitt Romney will be elected as the 45th U.S. President and we'll descend into a fascism third war nation.

Or maybe I'm wrong. You tell me what you think.

Palin wants us to CHOOSE a SIDE!

Sarah Palin is urging the Tea Party to choose a side. Either vote Democratic or Republican?

I say neither. I think it's time that the Tea Party movement lashed out at the GOP and show the entire world that we reject BOTH major political parties.

So let me introduce you to some possible alternatives:

The Green Party

The Libertarian Party

The Constitution Party

The Taxpayers Party.

Last Tuesday, I interviewed one of the third party candidates of the 2010 season, Libertarian Travis Irvine. He's running for the U.S. House of Representatives and challenging the current incumbent, Republican Pat Tiberi in Ohio's 12th district. You can listen to the interview. Tell what you think about Irvine and which parties (or individuals) that you plan on supporting this year.

Why are there so many pigeons?

Watch CBS News Videos Online

Ponzi fever has swept the nation. 60 minutes asked, "Why are there so many pigeons?"

Well, the reason why there are so many gullible suckers in America is because Americans have been taught to expect things to come easily.

Simply put, Americans are taught to believe, not think.

John Williams forecasts Second Wave of Depression

On February 6th, consulting economist John Williams (of ShadowStats.com) made an extraordinary appearance on the King World News Radio that must not be ignored. Williams calculates economic data without the bogus schemes utilized by the federal government. He's now forecasting that the United States will not only fail to enter into a recovery, but the current downturn will get worse.

He's saying that we have been "bottom-bouncing" for almost a year now and that we're about to dip even lower. Williams believes that there is no life in residential real estate, the fourth quarter GDP increase will not continue, the banks will have solvency problems and the GDP will be negative for 2010.

John Williams is saying that the "downturn is structural in nature." He sees California collapsing and forcing the federal government into an impossible decision:
1) Rescue California and bankrupt the Federal Government
2) Let California crash and let it drag us down with it.

The most disturbing part of the interview is when John talks about the fall of the dollar. Although, he doesn't know when it will happen, he is convinced that it could happen quickly.

Listen up, guys!

There are some very intelligent people out there talking about what's really going on with the economy. If you've been preparing, step it up! NOW!

Please listen to this interview.

Cybersecurity Act Passed by House

For those of you who believe that the Republican Party is still useful, I'mm going to throw a bucket of cold water in your face. The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Cybersecurity Act that gives the President the power to take over the Internet. No, I'm not exaggerating.

The Cybersecurity Enhancement Act, H.R. 4061 states the following:

SEC. 18. CYBERSECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY.

The President--

(1) within 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, shall develop and implement a comprehensive national cybersecurity strategy, which shall include--

(2) may declare a cybersecurity emergency and order the limitation or shutdown of Internet traffic to and from any compromised Federal Government or United States critical infrastructure information system or network;

And what exactly does "Federal government and U.S. critical Infrastructure Info Systems and Networks" mean?

Hmm, let's see.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND UNITED STATES CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS- The term ‘Federal Government and United States critical infrastructure information systems and networks’ includes--
(A) Federal Government information systems and networks;

(B) State, local, and nongovernmental information systems and networks in the United States designated by the President as critical infrastructure information systems and networks.

And the worse part, the House passed this with a vote of 422 to 5. That's right. Only five members of Congress voted against clear violation of civil liberties. Only FIVE!

GO TEAM USA!

You guys know how much of a figure skating fan I am, so I want you guys to support TEAM USA. If you're as excited as I am about the Olympics, you may want to know that you can follow the skiers, snowboarders and skaters at TeamUSAnews (http://teamusanews.org/)

I hope Lindsey Vonn can participate. I would hate to see an injury ruin her games. Plus, I like to watch (and her cute butt) go downhill.

Speaking of hot athletes. Who would you rather?
Tanith Belbin or Meryl Davis?

Tanith Belbin

Meryl Davis

So much talent and so much hotness! My opinion changes almost everyday. lol

BIG DEAL ---> Iran

If turns out that Iran's big announcement -- a so-called blow to global powers -- was a complete BUST! While marking the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad boasted that Iran had produced its first consignment of 20 per cent enriched uranium.

BIG DEAL. We knew that Iran was heading in that direction. I expected something bigger and better....worse. I expected a game-changer.

This does nothing but increase the likelihood that Israel will end up attacking Iran. If Israel looks to stop Iran, they'll have to do it soon. I hope it never happens, but it does....
WAR WAR WAR

Oh well, in other news. I had my first job interview since being back in Flint and was invited for a second round.

Consumer Spending CRASHES!

According to the Commerce Department, consumer spending fell 0.4% in 2009 -- the biggest drop since 1938. Now many of you will say that this is a good sign, because people are saving. And I agree. People are saving, but this necessarily means that the consumer economy must crash. Now, we've all heard about the reports about the 5.6% increase in GDP for the fourth quarter of 2009.
It was basically the result of slower inventory declines. Yes, the government's cash for clunkers and first-time home payer tax credit programs helped, but they were nothing but a costly short term pain reliever. The economy still has cancer and it is my belief that it is terminal.

US consumer spending rises less than expected

Is Target Demoting 8,000 Workers to cut Health Care Cost?

When I hosted a live session on my BlogTV, a guy called in and told me about his friend who had been demoted by Target. Apparently, Target is demoting 8,000 full-time employers to part-time status in an attempt to save money and cut health benefits.

I discovered an article that confirmed the story, but the source seems questionable. I want you guys to dig a little and report what you find.

Is Target demoting 8,000 full-time workers to part-time status to avoid paying for health care?

Unemployment Drops to 9.7% Here's the REAL story!

What's going on with the economy?

Move people are losing their jobs, but the government is interpreting it in a way that misleads people. The government admits that we lost at least 20,000 jobs in January 2010 and yet the unemployment rate dropped from 10% to 9.7%.

How is this?

Let me break it down in a way that everyone can understand.

There's an imaginary country.

The Republic of Centonia.
Population: 100

Now, if you exclude the elderly and youth, you have 60 workers participating in the economy. If you have 20 people who are not working. Under normal circumstances, the unemployment rate will be 33.3%.

Why?

There are 20 unemployed workers for every 60 participants.
20/60= .333
You convert .333 to 33.3%

If five unemployed workers stop looking for work. The Centonian government can do what the U.S. government does and simply declare that they are not apart of the workforce.

That means you subtract the 5 from the participant group and and the unemployed group.
60-5= 55 people participating in the economy
20-5= 15 people counted as unemployed.

That means 15 out of 55.

15/55= .272
Which gives us Centonia a lower unemployment rate of 27.2%.

So you have the same situation. 100 citizens. 20 people not working. But if you remove the discouraged workers from the unemployment count, you get a lower rate.

Same amount of people not working. Better number.

27.2% sounds better than 33.3%.

The U6 rate dropped, too. But you have to keep in mind that when people lose their unemployment benefits, they are not necessarily counted for the U6.

Bottom line: We're losing jobs and the unemployment rate is not showing that.

Thank You Very Much

First, let me say thank you for all of your support. I originally started this blog as a means of expanding my message beyond Youtube. I wanted to provide my viewers with another means of communicating ideas. Unfortunately, I have found that I do not have enough time to run this blog, search for a job and continue to produce quality videos.

So I don't know how many people are reading this. Judging by the number of comments on my pages, I would say three or four. I just want to say thank you for your support.

I'll see you on Youtube.

Deficit: UP and away it Goes!

President Obama has just submitted a budget that will blossom to $1.6 trillion. Yep! Why not?! If we're headed to hyperinflation, why not make it the greatest hyper-inflationary depression that we can produce. if we try hard enough, we maybe able to beat Zimbabwe.

The teleprompter-in-chief unveiled a $3.8 trillion annual budget.

Anybody jumping into the dollar?!
