Violent Protests and Riots in IRAN!

Don't worry, everything is under control.

Not really!

The protests in Iran are getting ugly! And by ugly, I mean, VIOLENT! Actually, I don't know if this qualifies as a protest or a riot. Oh wait, the throwing of rocks puts this squarely in the riot category.

I have to warn you that the video below may alarmed some of you.

Will 2010 be the Year of Terror?

Three hundred terrorist?! According to Yemen's Foreign Minister Abubakr al-Qirbi, there could be as many as 300 Islamic terrorists actively planning terrorist attacks around the world. Anyone who still doesn't understand why I'm worried about a major terrorist attack in American next year is simply delusional.

Speaking of terrorism, the underwater bomber who are taken down by passengers on that airplane in Detroit apparently was escorted through the airport by a strange man in a suit. According to attorney and passenger of Delta Flight 253, Kurt Haskell, the bomber was allowed to board the plane with a passport. What the hell is going on?

Early Parole: I hope they don't let the VIOLENT ones OUT?

Princeton University economists and computer scientists have proven through science that financial derivatives are also inherently vulnerable to fraudulent pricing. This confirms what many of us have always thought about the financial junk known as credit default swaps and mortgage-backed securities. Who knows? Maybe Lyndon Larouche is right? With hundreds of trillions of phony money in derivatives, perhaps we should simply dump it. Frankly, I'm more concerned about the one the country's more immediate problems: crime.

In Michigan, funds are drawing low for law enforcement and as a result, more prisoners are being released from prison early. Historically, at least 40% of Michigan parolees commit a crime after they have been released. So what does this mean? Thousands of convicts will hit the streets with little or no job prospects in one of the worse economic environments in American history. That is a receipt for disaster. I hope they don't let the violent ones out.

Arrows Trucking Company leaves 1,200 truckers STRANDED

Admittedly, this story sounds too outrageous to be true, but unfortunately, the absurd is apart of an all-too-harsh reality for over 1,200 truckers who worked for Arrow Trucking. Just before Christmas, truckers all over the country received a phone call from Arrow stating that they were to drive their trucks to the nearest dealership, collect a 200 dollar check and go home.

NO notice. No explanation. Merry Christmas, you're fired! Now only many of these truckers have to abandoned their beds, refrigerators, TVs and food, but they had to look for work while their paychecks were bouncing.

This story angers for two reasons.
1) How can a company abandon its employees (I'm sorry, independent contractors) like this?
This company is too big to be able to legally pull a stunt like this.

2) If Arrow can get away with a midnight closing, which other companies are secretly planning the same thing?

WIll Davis/White or Belbin/Agosta Win Olympic GOLD?

Tanith Belbin

And you wonder why I love figure skating? Well, I've been a huge fan of figure skating. Ever since Ukrainian sweetheart, Oksana Baiul, had the skate of her life at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, I've secretly loved figure skating.

Now, let me just say that I'm not a big sports fan. I have my favorite teams: Florida Gators, Michigan Wolves, Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. But my most anticipated sporting event of 2010 will be the ice dance face off. Okay, maybe not the most anticipated event. The NBA finals will be number 1, but the ice dance competition will be a close second. This year, the Americans have two strong teams that have a real chance at winning the gold. The most prominent team is the 2006 Olympic Silver medalists Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto. The former is probably the most beautiful athlete in the world. The second American team (Meryl Davis and Charlie White) are arguably the strongest of the two teams.

Charlie White and Meryl Davis

The Canadian team of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir are not only one of the best in the world, but in my opinion, the most likely gold medal winners. And it would be foolish to ignore Delobel/Schoenfelder and the many other great teams. But this year, I'll be rooting for Charlie White and Meryl Davis. I think they have matured and evolved as a highly skilled team that is graceful and effortless in their technical prowess and artistic expression.

I wish all of the North American teams good luck, but I'll be wishing harder for the enchanting Meryl Davis.

Congressman Griffith Switches Parties, Does it Even Mean?

When Alabama Congressman Parker Griffith announced that he was switching to the Republican Party, I rolled my eyes. And recently, when I read that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R), Barrack Obama deserves an "A" for his efforts during his first year as President of the United States, I was hardly surprise. After all, when you look beyond the rhetoric, there really isn't a lot of difference between the Republican party and the Democratic Party. Both political parties push for higher taxation, bigger government and the expansion of government power. Whether it be Bush's push for the Patriot Act or Obama's Health Care bill. The GOP and DNC have both been given control of the House, Senate and White House at certain points in this decade and their actions have revealed them to be corrupt and incompetent.

I wish i could say that 2010 will be the year of the Third Party, but I don't see any signs of life.

I think 2010 was be a horrific year for the Democrats and that's the real reason Parker Griffith is jumping ship.

Goldman Sucks.....I mean Goldman Sachs!

Here's a story that will warm your heart. Goldman Sachs has managed to build a new headquarters in lower Manhattan. This skyscraper will include 2.1 billion square feet of space for its 9,000 employees. And the best part is that New York city's taxpayers made it possible. New York city not only let $1.6 billion in Liberty Bonds tax free, but it gave them $49 million in job-grant funds, $66 million in additional benefits, special tax exemptions and energy discounts. Isn't it wonderful to see a firm that used its political connections to gain bailout to sink its competitiors develop into New York royalty. Now the NYC is kissing Goldman Sach's ass and providing them with free money.

Oh well.....

Happy Holidays!

Apathy in America

When a fellow Youtube asked me to comment on apathy in America, it forced me to place a very difficult truth about America. The nation has lost its morality. When I first heard Gerald Celente uttered those words, I immediately drew back. I didn't understand what he met until a loved one of mine had a stroke. She laid on the front lawn for two hours. The house is located on a fairly busy street, so I know some people saw her. Her daughter found her lying in the front yard. They didn't have much money, so they didn't call the paramedics and they didn't feel comfortable asking a neighbor for help. The daughter ended up calling her boyfriend from another city to help her get her mother in the house.

When I say this I want you to understand that it is not my intention to hurt anyone's feelings but it must be said. The American people simply don't care, because they don't have, too. We have degenerates in Washington D.C. because they represent the people who voted them in. In a democratic society (a society with elections), the people deserve the leaders they elect. It's not that the majority of Americans cared about the soldiers dying in Iraq, we just didn't want to see it on our television screens every night. It's not millions of young people became politically active and informed in 2008, it's just that they hated Bush and Obama seemed cool.

We are not longer a nation of thinkers. We've definitely not a nation of doers. I think last year's TARP debacle proved that. Not only did Congress ignore the American people's demands to NOT give the bankers billions of dollars, but they managed to convince the American people to put them back in office.

If Americans really gave a damn, they would have ditched the Republican Party and Democratic in 2008. I don't know exactly why Americans don't care, but when the consequences of their apathy translates into a hyper inflationary holocaust, they'll start to care. We'll start to care about the wars when the millions of lives that we've ruined translates into acts of revenge.

I hope America regains her morality. I hope we value our soldiers lives as much as we value our own. I hope start forcing the politicians to adhere to the U.S. constitution. I hope more of us start caring.

My Predictions for 2010 (Dollar Crash, Bank Holiday, Massive Unemployment)

Last Year, I was right about unemployment rising significantly and the dollar index dropping, but I was wrong about the stock market crashing. I thought we would see a crash in the Fall, but it never happened. Actually, it did if you price the market in Gold. I thought the dollar index would drop much more than it did. Oddly enough, I thought unemployment would rise, but I underestimated the quickly of the rise. So with that said, I will admit that I am no Nostradamus. Nevertheless, after following current events and economic trends for almost one year, I feel that I am more competent to make predictions this year than I was last December.

So here go!
MY PREDICTIONS for 2010

DOLLAR
There maybe a bank holiday.
Chinese will slowly sell U.S. treasuries.
The dollar will decline (forcing the Fed to formally devalue the dollar.)
I really hope I'm wrong.

FOOD
Foreign made food prices will rise dramatically.
The devaluation of the dollar will make food prices soar.

OIL
Oil will probably break the 5 dollar mark before the supply becomes scare.
Trucking will become too expensive (driving food prices even higher)

REAL ESTATE
The high oil prices will make commuting to the suburbs unmanageable and therefore people will abandon their overpriced homes.
Home prices will drop another 20-30% nationwide. Some areas will be worse than others.

UNEMPLOYMENT
Dips to 9.6%, but rises to 13.1%
Last year, I underestimated it. Let's hope this year, I'm overestimating it.

CIVIL UNREST
Rioting and looting at supermarkets.
Citizens clashing with law enforcement in urban AND suburban areas about jobs and taxes.
Massive protests at universities over tuition, food and the wars.

AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ
The number of American soldiers killed in Afghanistan will exceed twice the amount in 2008.
More troops = More targets. (Plus the numbers are rising anyway.) Our soldiers deserve better than what we are giving them.

OLYMPICS
In Ice Dance, Meryl Davis and Charlie White will win the gold. GO USA!

TERRORISM/FALSE FLAG
No, Vancouver will not be attacked, but I think the US will. When governments run out of tricks to boast their economy, they usually turn to war. And what better way to rally the people.
Unfortunately, I think Gerald Celente is right.

GOLD
Gold will probably hit 1,700. Silver will hit at least 40.

THIRD PARTIES
Americans like to vote for people who don't care about them. It's the same mentally that drives women to spread their legs for guys who treat them like crap. We'll see less than 10 third party candidates in the House in 2011. Sorry. I hope I'm wrong.

OBAMA
I think he will be politically irreverent by November 2010. Let's hope the American people turn on both the Democrats and Republicans and vote for other parties.

LOCAL
Farmer's markets will return with a bang.

TRANSPORTATION
I don't know if it will be a wormhole or teleportation or what? But I think we will see a breakthrough that will replace airplanes, but it will take a decade for the infrastructure to be built.

SECRET SPACE PROGRAM
I agree with Cliff High. I think it would be foolish to believed that we stopped serious space exploration after the moon missions. I think a whistle blower will reveal something big about the secret space program. (Okay, maybe I'm drifting into fantasy land.)

BLACK REPUBLICANS
Yes, even a broken clock is right twice a day. The black Republicans finally make it into the U.S. House. (Secret Space Programs? Black Republicans? Okay, I know this list is getting weird. How about a Black Libertarian? Please?)

BOTTOM LINE: We will see the next leg of the economic collapse. (Probably in the Spring, but let's hope I'm wrong. Boy, would that be great!)

Let me just say that this is NOT the end of the world. This will not be doomsday or the apocalypse. We will survive this. If people stand by their neighbors and support one another, they will survive this transition. What's happening in America is a transition from an consumer-debt hallow economy into something more sustainability. In 2010, we will witness the end of a corrupt system and the birth of something better.

So Much for INNOCENT until Proven GUILTY!

So much for innocent until proven guilty. When famed hip hop choreographer Shane Sparks (of "America's Best Dance Crew" and "So You Think You Can Dance") was arrested for child molestation, I was not only stunned by the charges, but I was amazed by how many people on the forums automatically believed that he was guilty. Authorities are claiming that he had sexual relations with a 15 year old female student.

But here's the odd thing, this incident apparently happened over a decade ago. Why did the alleged victim wait this long to come forward? Isn't there a statute of limitations?

Now his attorney, Steve Meister, is saying that Shane was facing extortion.

Let me make myself clear, I'm not saying that he is innocent or guilty. I'm only saying that we should give the accused the benefit of the doubt. The accused must be considered innocent until proven guilty if we are going to have a fair justice system.

Why do you think?

A Woman should NEVER try to CHANGE a man!

Every once in awhile, I could across an article that really hits a nerve. I read in Page 6 that former porn star, Tera Patrick, is divorcing her husband because he refused to quit porn. Last summer, she offered her husband, Evan Seinfeld, an ultimatum. Quit porn or else.

Evan chose the latter and now the couple is going through a divorce. Is it just me or is Tera Patrick repeating one of the classic female mistakes of thinking that she can change a man. I know it's no of my business, but I don't care. She knew he loved porn before they married, so why did she expect him to give up something he loved. I've said this many times and I feel that it's worth repeating: A woman should never try to change a man.

Either accept him for who he is or move on.

Viewers, chine in!

Michigan: Many Unemployed are DEPRESSED!

Things are getting ugly here in Michigan, and Detroit is the epic center of the state's economic plight. Nearly half of the Detroit's workers are now unemployed. The situation is so bad that state welfare workers are protesting the state's lack of staffing for welfare offices. About 50 Human Services employees rallied in Sterling Heights to warn Lansing that the situation was reaching critical mass.

If you have time, please view the articles below. As for myself, I don't need to read the articles to know how bad things are here in Michigan. I am currently living in Flint, MI, and I can verify how hard it is to find a job.

I have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and sociology, three years of office experience at a university and two years of experience working with at-risk youth at two high schools. When I went to the University of Michigan-Flint, I envisioned myself providing guidance for at-risk teenagers as a juvenile probation officer. Now, I'm looking high and low for any job that I can get. I've applied for jobs as a clerk, assistant, receptionist, cashier, maintenance, bagger and just about any service job you can imagine.

Some of my friends have spent so much time looking for work that they've simply given up. A lot of people are not only discouraged, but depressed. I haven't lost hope. I believe in myself, but I have to say, it's getting hard, very hard.

Movie Review: Collapse

Chris Smith's "Collapse" seems less like a documentary and more like a drama. Watching Michael Ruppert break down on camera as he tries to sit in a chair and explain why the world economy is going to collapse was one of the most touching moments in this year in America cinema. Michael Ruppert became infamous when he confront the director of CIA, John Deutch, about the agency's direct involvement in trafficking narcotics into the U.S. Ruppert claims that the CIA tried to recruit him to traffic drugs and when he refused, his career was ended and his live almost ruined. He lost everything.

He was down, but certainly not out. Michael Ruppert embarked on a journey as a freelancer journalist that would forever changed the political landscape. He broke huge stories (e.g. Tillman), openly challenged the government's story about 9/11 and warned the public about what he viewed as an economic collapse.

In "Collapse", he ties Peak OIL, food supplies , economics and war into his compelling argument about the future of mankind. Although, the film is almost entirely about Smith's interview with Ruppert, it never failed to keep my attention. This is more than a political documentary, it's a story about a man's evolution and life's work. Ruppert's explanations are solid, but what really drives the film is his sincerity. After watching "Collapse", you may not believe what Michael Ruppert believes, but you will definitely believe that he believes it and that will definitely have an affect on you.

The Stimulus Package: Part 2, or it Part 3?

The Democrats aren't calling it a stimulus package, but it sounds a lot like one. The House reluctantly passed the $155 billion jobs bill by a vote of 217 to 212. The bill is susposedly designed to created "shovel-ready" construction jobs and provide funding for the public employees in state and local governments.

So it is obviously meant to stimulus the economy, which raises a very important question: If the first stimulus package was such a huge success, why do we need a second one? If the White House advisers are correct about the economy recovering, why do we need another stimulus package. By creating a second stimulus, one concedes that the first one did not work.

Let me make myself clear, if the President wants to help America, he needs to focus on alleviating the pain. That also means limiting the amount of pain that the government creates. We can not afford the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We can not afford 700+ military bases across the world. We do not have enough wealth to fund Harry Reid's health care bill. We definitely can not afford to bail out more zombie banks.

Obama needs to let the so-called too-big-to-fail companies die, end the wars, shut down 90% of our foreign bases, cut useless government agencies, drastically reduce the budget and focus on security. Which leads me to the part of the jobs bill that I support. We need to make sure that local police and fire departments are able to receive funding and provide basic security. As the economy crumbles, we'll need the police to arrest the violent thugs and the fire fighters to put out the fires.

Black Unemployment and the Trauma of Joblesss

Last night, I find myself in a strange place that I had once vowed to never visit. Sometime between dinner and nightmare, I was strolling through Genesee Valley Mall and I ran into an old college buddy. I'll call her Carol (she's black) for her anonymity. She surprised me by informing me of her husband of two small children. I never thought she would ever go Leave-it-to-Beaver, but I was glad for her. After five minutes of the tradition five-years-after-college banter, she mentioned that her husband had been laid off from and had been out of work for over 7 months. Carol mentioned something that I had almost completely ignored this year. She told me that half of the people in her family was either underemployed or unemployed.

Unemployment in America is affecting all races and economic classes, but blacks seem to be getting hit hard than any group. Why is unemployment higher among blacks?

John Williams Sees Hyperinflationary Coming!

John Williams (of Shadowstats.com) has reported a report stating that the likelihood of a inflationary depression has reached a critical level. What this means is that, if the government continues it's reckless monetary and fiscal policy, the dollar could collapse.

He believes that Bernanke's attempts to avoid deflation will create a hyper inflationary environment that will destroy the dollar. He's basically saying that this is unavoidable and the system could collapse at anytime.

He's recommending that people protect their wealth by putting their money in physical gold and silver. He also urges to stock up on basic necessities such as food, water and toilet paper. Williams believes that we should be preparing to survive on our own for three months.

Let's be clear. John believes that this situation is unavoidable.

State Tax Revenues Tell the Truth

I've always paid close attention to tax revenue, because I believe that tax revenues show a very honest perspective of the economy. See, while job numbers can be easily cooked, it's more difficult for a state government to produce money that doesn't come in.

Here's a small look at the state of the economy from the prespectives of three states: Colorado, New York and California.

Sales tax revenue in Colorado dropped 9.1% in November, California’s revenue dropped 0.6 percent in November (compared to last November) and New York Governor Patterson withheld a $750 million payment to local governments to save cash.

If the economy is recovering, why is the government declaring that tens of thousands of unemployed people to be not apart of the workforce? Is this how the government deals with bad news? Cover it up. Well, it's becoming increasing harder to cover up the face that more and Americans are losing their jobs and don't have the money to pay state taxes.

Black Men who Date White Women!

Just because I prefer white women that doesn't mean that I hate black women or myself. The way I see it, dating is only a matter of preference. If you ask me what I want for dinner and I say "Chinese," that doesn't mean that I hate Italian food. It's a matter or preference. I don't coffee, but I love tea. I love Audrey Hepburn, but care much for Katherine Hepburn. Does that mean I hate Katherine, of course not. I simply prefer Audrey. Just as I prefer white women.

I can't give you a specific reason. I don't have any complaints about black women or any other group for that matter. I simply find myself drawn to white women, particularly red heads. Just as some men are drawn to Latinas or other men. My affection for certain types of white women is fueled by attraction, not hate. In fact, I am attracted to some Black women, Latin women and Asian women.

So if you hear me talk about beautiful white women, just remember my affection for sweet and sour chicken with fired rice.

What do you think?

Please Protect Your Family! My Recommendation: Mossberg 500!

What you're about to read is more than an opinion. This is a declaration. Due to the serious condition of the U.S. economy, I believe the time has come for all families to taken precautions. The economic recovery is nothing more than a lie created by the government and Wall Street economists to prop up a consumer-debt economy that is deader than a squirrel on the side of I-75. This economy can no longer produce real jobs. The type of jobs that pay a decent salaries. And I'm not talking about 8.50/hour flipping burgers or pushing carts. I'm talking about blue collar industrial jobs that provide livable wages and benefits.

These jobs aren't coming back. This economy is going into the next leg of the depression and it's time that people faced the music. The holiday retail is not going to save us. You can't lose millions of jobs, have a horrible holiday season (2008), lose more jobs (in 2009) and have a recovery season. It makes no sense.

My declaration is that you need to arm yourself. You need to protect your family. That means storing at least three months of food for everyone in the household, store at least two weeks of water (one gallon per person), buying a gun and plenty of ammo.

Before you buy a gun, research the laws in your area. After that, buy a gun that suits your needs. If you need a gun for home defense, a 12 gauge shotgun is my recommendation. I own a Mossberg 500. After you buy the weapon, learn how to use it.

If the economy collapses, people will panic, crime will soar and looter will be on the move. I'm not saying that it's going to be doomsday, but you need to prepare for a long winter.

A Second American Civil War

As unlikely as this scenario may seem to many Americans, I think that it was be unwise to discount the rising tensions boiling over in this country. Last month, an article popped up on the European Union Times' website claiming that Russian Military analysts believed that U.S. President Obama was secretly preparing the U.S. military for a civil war this winter. Now, rather the article is the result of propaganda or real reports is up for debate, but I think the article is tipping into a real fear that many Americans possess.

In the last 10 years, our government has move so far away from the U.S. constitution (and common sense for that matter) that the country has moved dangerously close to a revolution. With 1/5th of Americans unemployed (or underemployed) and over 35 million living on food stamps, many Americans are beginning to lose hope in the American dream. I think people no longer view the government as a protector. Americans are realizing that no matter what they do, the U.S. government imply don't seem to care about them. We saw this last year when Americans overwhelming called Congress members to recanted the the BAILOUT, only to be ignored by both Republicans and Democrats.

Now, I'm saying that we will definitely see a Civil War, but if the economy continues to deteriorate and government continues to ignore the people, well, all bets are off.

U.S. Deficit Worse than Last Year

In George Bush's last year, he managed to created the largest deficit in United States history. Last fiscal year, Obama shattered that record by tripling that deficit to 1.4 trillion dollars. And here we are, after two months, and the deficit is on pace to top that. In October and November, the federal government had a $292 billion fiscal shortfall.

Does anyone think that we can keep running these deficits without any consequences?

I am certain that if we don't change our monetary and fiscal policy that the U.S. (okay, the Federal Reserve dollar) will be devalued and millions of Americans will see their savings and assets wiped out.

If you don;'t think it's possible, just look at what the federal government has done in the last two years. First, Bush created a $150 Billion bust-of-a stimulus package in 2008, followed by the $700+ billion Wall Street-theft known as TARP (the Bailout), then Obama scared the masses to pass his $787 billion stimulus failure and we saw GM, Chrysler, Citigroup and other unless companies receive billions of dollars in bailout. Congress also managed to pass a $400 billion Omnibus spending package, while President Obama touted the cash for clunkers program and the first-time home owner tax credit.

And now....yes, there's more....Obama is introducing a second stimulus package.

Black Friday was a BUST!

Obama's Approval ratings continue to slump as Gallup reported that his overall approval rating reached 47%, the lowest rating any president has had at this point in a presidency.

But nevermind his problems, we have bigger problems to worry about. We're just now receiving the data that verifies what I have long suspected, the ever-hyped Black Friday was a huge bust. The sales for the week after the Thanksgiving holiday fell 1.3%.

So much for green shots.

QUESTION: Did your spending habits for this holiday season changed from last year?

PROPAGANDA ALERT: The Opening Film for Copenhagen

If you can sit through this reprehensible video, you are surely more tolerant than I am.

Boy, do I yearn for the good old days of soviet propaganda.

QUESTION: So what do you think of this video?

Copenhagen: What's Really Going on?

As world leaders prepare to meet in Copenhagen this week to discuss climate change, I wonder how many Americans actually care? Maybe it's just me, but after the release of thousands of damning e-mails from the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit exposing many climate scientists to me totally and utter frauds, I'm having a very difficult time understanding why world leaders are gathering to limit carbon emissions, when the world economy is on the verge of total collapse. Maybe now isn't the time to assault world industrial with dracian taxes and controls?

It seems to me that this Copenhagen meeting is worse thing that could possibly happen to the world economy.

Maybe that's what they were aiming for to began with. Some people are worried that this will be the formation of a totalitarian world government, others see Copenhagen as means of intentionally destroying the economy and most don't seem to care. The way I see it, climate change has nothing to do with saving the environment and everything to do with making money. After all, if these people were really concerned about the environment, they probably wouldn't be flying into Copenhagen on private jets. Does usage of 1,200 limos and 140 private jets seem environmentally-friendly to you?

QUESTION: What do you think is going to happen at Copenhagen and how will it affect America?

Unemployment Reality Rate

This video explains in 3 minutes what I've been trying to say for over a year.

The unemployment situation is much worse than what the government is reporting.

QUESTION: How long do you think the government's tricks work before people start to REVOLT?

Long Term Unemployment Worsens

The official unemployment rate decreases to 10% in November. So is the economy recovering?

Well, no, it isn't and here's why. First, the unemployment numbers are misleading, the government reported that we only lost 11,000 jobs in November, but this is because of the increase in seasonal and temporary jobs. The media also fails to mention that given the country's population growth, we would need to add 100,000 jobs per month just to break even.

Second, short term unemployment is decreasing, because long term unemployment is increasing. The number of Americans unemployed for at least 27 weeks reached 5.9 million in November. That's an all-time high. So what's happening.

So many people have been out of work for so long that they are giving up and now the government is spinning this as good news.

Jesse Ventura's Heated Radio Confrontation

Jesse Ventura's Heated Radio Confrontation

Jesse Ventura's radio interview on Opie & Anthony almost turned into a fight when weasel radio personality Norton displayed one of the most pathetic hit jobs I've ever seen. He spoke over Ventura, put words in his mouth and insulted the former Governor to the point that Ventura respectfully walked away. Ventura tried to talk about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but Norton's barrage of attacked made it impossible.

You gotta respect how the ex-pro wrestler handled this punk.

Question: How would you have handled this situation?

Who will Survive the Economic Downturn?

Pontiac, Rest in Peace!
After 82 years, one of GM's signature brands will disappear. What other brands will we see disappear during this economic downturn?

Here's my list of companies that I think will be dead by the end of the downturn.

Sirius Radio
AT&T
Blockbuster
Starbucks
Quiznos
Toys 'R' Us
FYI

This list should be a lot longer. What do you think?

My Early Years in Flint, Michigan

Now, I know that when most of you think of Flint, the last thing that comes to mind are universities and museums, but there's a lot more to Flint than murder and robbery. So I decided to show the nicer side of Flint, Michigan.
